This is a an amazingly clean and very solid low mileage 1971 Ford Maverick 4 door sedan.
It would be great to put it back together as originally equipped or swap in your favorite V8 engine whether it be an LS, Coyote, Small Block Ford, etc. It would also make a really cool clone of the Gapp & Roush Tijuana Taxi drag car from the 70s.
The car is amazingly well preserved inside and out. The body is very solid and is in overall nice condition but does show some signs of wear and tear. The paint is believed to be original and it looks nice and shiny - it would look even better polished and detailed. There are some chips, dents, dings, scuffs, scrapes, and other imperfections that are relatively minor in my opinion but please see the 120+ photos at the link above.
The interior is in very nice condition and reflects its very light use (see photos).
Underneath the car is very solid showing only light surface on the floor pans and typical surface rust on suspension components (see photos).
The engine and trans were pulled to swap in a V8. This project is being sold as a roller so there is no engine or transmission included. As a roller, additional parts will need to be purchased and labor will be needed in order to realize your vision for this car.
