1937 Ford Truck/Flathead V8Kansas barn find!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwA8sI6HHm0 or go to YouTube and search Corts 1937 FordPurchased from the original family here in Kansas, this truck is a true time capsule. Right down to the GB + SA etched into the glove box door - (it later became GB + SB!).Now that is some farm romance! If you are looking for a truly original piece of history, this one is for you. It appears it was painted once, many years ago, but otherwise retains its originality. You can see just with a quick look that it was loved and well taken care of. It spent most of its years in the barn, and due to this it is rust free. It will need some glass, as things were moved around in the barn and broke two pieces, but glass kits are pretty cheap and readily available. About $300 here on eBay.It is getting harder all the time to find pre-war trucks, but finding an original that is this complete and straight is nearly unheard of. The grille is exceptionally straight, the fenders are not perfect, but very nice. The odometer shows 20k miles, and I am nearly positive that is original, as the 1984 title I have shows 17K miles. The engine fires up and sounds great, the brakes work, the transmission shifts through all the gears. It currently has open exhaust - so it is pretty loud!Just a great old truck that is ready for its new owner, and with a little tinkering will be ready for grandkid rides, and parades!I have sold a lot of old trucks here with no disappointments so please read my feedback. Also - this truck will haul nicely on an 18-20ft trailer behind a pickup, or I can help you with shipping. I am fine with it setting here while you make arrangements, as long as it is paid for. Please call or text Cort at 620-786-5172 with any questions.
