I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1993 Ford F-150 XLT 4x4 with the desirable extended cab and standard bed. Ford F-Series trucks are the best selling line of trucks for a reason. Their reputation of rugged construction and reliability are no secret. I would rate the exterior of this F-150 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see. this is a good looking truck. It is finished in dark red and shows well for its age. As with any older truck. please expect to find a few bumps and bruises commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific truck. there are a bunch of scratches on the sides. There are a few rust spots on the fenders and cab extensions as well as some rust on the bumpers but nothing terrible. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood. doors and tail gate all open and close easily. This truck looks to have had a factory Ford bedliner since new. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory polished alloy wheels shine nicely and are wrapped in a nearly new set of rubber with deep tread all around. Please take the time to read this entire description and check out each of the photos. I would also rate the interior of this F-150 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door panels are clean and tight. The dash has a few cracks from age but shows well. The headliner is clean. The carpets are also clean. The seats show a little age but look good and are comfortable. The power windows. locks and mirrors work properly. The stereo has been upgraded with an aftermarket CD player. The heater works fine. The truck is a/c equipped but it does not blow cold. The rear seat is spacious enough for extra passengers or a handy / secure place for your gear. The original owners manual is included. Mechanically. this F-150 appears to be in good running condition. The 302ci V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smokie. Her road manners are pretty good out for a truck of this age. The steering wonders a little but nothing out of the ordinary. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The brakes have a little shake to them but they stop the truck easily. The one thing I did see that will need pertty much immediate attention is the front differential. it is pretty noisy. There is an outside chance that it is a wheel bearing but I'm pretty sure it's the diff. To be honest. a new wheel bearing is probably about the same price as a good used front diff so it should cost about the same either way. The engine makes good power and feels strong. She keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly through all gears. The old automatic hubs have already been upgraded with Warn manual hubs. The push button 4WD engages and disengages quickly as it should. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. Out on the highway. she drives nice and straight with no complaints. She comes in as a fresh NEW FORD TRADE and has a current PA safety inspection good through the end of August. 2015. I intend to at least check the front differential fluid before the truck gets sold but I don't expect that to fix it. My intention is to make sure it at least has fluid in it before you drive off in it. I've driven it about 30 miles with no issue. but I wouldn't be comfortable doing a long drive in it because of the noisy differential but that will be up to the person who buys it.
