Description of 1946 Ford Other Chev frame and driveline |
This is a 1946 Ford Panel Truck in real good condition sitting on top of a 1979 Chevy half ton 4x4 frame and running gear that was all painted few years back when it was done. Not the 46 but paint was on motor. trans and transfer case and frame that was painted. This is not a rust bucket but has a few small spots that need fixing to be real nice for a long time to come. I was going to take the 46 off the frame as it is bolted on frame on frame so it would be easy to take off to make a hot red by the ground and still have the excellent 4x4 frame and running gear for another project. We all know what a dropped 46 Panel wagon would sell for finished but my years are catching up with me. This is a hard find. I have the title on the 79 4x4 and all the paperwork to get the title on the 46 that you will need. This has power brakes and steering and a older 283 that runs great with headers and a 3 speed with creeper trans and a good older transfer case all in good working order and all painted. I have tried to show everything in pics but if you need more just let me know or email me for any info or my num and I will answe all questions. The tires are nothing special and the 2 wheels on the back were new when I got it over a year ago. You would need your own battery. Delivery is available for a fee to some locations so please ask if you are in my delivery areas. If you want something that is different and draws a lot of attention and looks that is one of a kind here it is. The back door is in good shape just had bondo chunk I took out and did not sand dent and fix and prime so has surface rust now. If you want this blasted and primed that is possible for a fee as that is what I have done for years. |
