Description of 1975 Ford Bronco |
I am selling this Bronco for my Mother-in-law. Her Husband passed away a couple years ago and she wants to let it go to a new home. They have owned it for 10-12 years and he didsome restoration in 2008-9. I am not a Bronco expert so many of the things I may say will not be technically correct. For instance I believe the interior is original but do not know for sure. I know he had it painted and replaced some trim and window gaskets etc. The Bronco was bought from a local southern California Man and I believe he possibly could have been the original owner. This Broncoappears to have been in this area all it's life. I found no indication of any advanced rust anywhere on it. Only minor surface ruston the bottom of the floor pans etc.The paint is nice but only original Ford quality not show quality. The front bumper was pushed back and scratched the paint but I suspect it could be realigned as it does not look bent. Almost one Quart of touch up paint is included. The paint has no obvious scratches. She showed me pictures from before the paintjob and the Bronco was pretty straight before the paintjob so there should not be much if any bondo underneath. The bodywork is not perfect but is very presentable. Bumpers have been re-chromed and are nice. This Bronco looks very nice from 10 feet away as the pictures show. It really doeslook that good. But if you look close some of the trim is oxidized slightly and has some minor scratches pitting etc. I think he removed most of the glass for the paint job & replaced the gaskets but the windshieldwas not removed.I have 90 pictures so if you want something specific just ask. I started it from dead cold after not being started for 2 weeks and it started up with one press to the floor and one more 1/2 pump. It started right up. I also started it an hour later after having moved it only a few feet to wash it and it started right up without touching the gas. It has recently been driven to a nearby mountain community 100 miles round trip without any issues whatsoever. It sounds great and the trans shifts great. Shifts to second maybe a little too soon not sure if that can be adjusted. If you look closely at the pictures you can see many things could need attention and need replaced underneath but overall this thing drives as you would expect for a mostly original with 105 thousand miles. I have no idea if the lights radio or windshield wipers or any of that stuff works since I did not test any of it. She did not tell me of any issues so I think most features are in good working order. There is a box of spare parts that is included. I saw a fuel pump in there and an oil filter etc. The Bronco has been kept in the garage of her Daughter for all this time and has recently been moved to her Trailer for the sale so is now sitting outside under a carport. I have not personally driven it out on the road but did drive it around her trailer park and hit some speed bumps etc and all seems well. This is for sale locally and so the auction can be ended at any time. Any questions you can call me at (909)227-1999 Ron. Please leave a message and be aware the Bronco is 30 miles from me. If you are skilled at auto repairs I really do think you could drive this home. The Bronco is 10 minutes from Ontario CA Int Airport (ONT). If you want to have it shipped we will coordinate with your shipper after we are sure the payment is good. You must send $1000 NON-Refundable Deposit VIA PayPal within 24 Hours. We will only accept Cash in person or Wire Transfer unless you happen to bank at Bank of America in which case we can do the transaction at the bank teller window. Or you can bring a check that YOU can cash here at a local bank or withdraw cash here at a local Bank and give it to me. That would be in Rancho Cucamonga California or Pasadena California. On Jun-09-15 at 15:22:58 PDT seller added the following information: I have a picture of the VIN tag. You must email me for it since the software will not let me post it. I asked and found out that the engine is believed to be original and not rebuilt. The trans shifts firmly so I am thinking that may have been gone through at one time or a shift kit was installed. I am happy with the trans shifting except driving slowly in the trailer park it was shifting to second kind of soon and may act better out on the open road. On Jun-09-15 at 16:19:54 PDT seller added the following information: I was able to decode the vin tag and this is a HD package with a 9"limited slip/track lockin the rear and a Dana 30 limited slip in the front with 3.50 gears. Also decodes a San Jose area sold and a 302 V8. I am not 100% sure about this but it seems based on everything I can find on the internet. Feel free to ask for a pic of the tag and research it yourself. 3.50 posi front and back is cool. |
