Description of 1995 Geo Tracker

For sale is a highly modified 1995 Geo Tracker Tin Top, or Hard Top. I purchased this vehicle in 2015 after searching for the perfect rig to build. I finally found this 1995 Geo Tracker 4x4, with hard top and 3 speed automatic transmission. I purchased it bone stock from an older couple in Southern Indiana in March 2015. I put all top of the line parts on this rig. I have a receipt for everything ordered and installed on this rig. The list below has all of the details.

In short, the tracker has the 16v engine, a with a header, new timing belt, new water pump, new plugs, new plug wires, new distributor cap and completely new exhaust out to the tailpipe. The trans is the trusty 3sp automatic. Transfer case has 4.24:1 low range gears and installed/rebuilt in 2016. The lift kit is the Calmini Solid Axle Swap Kit with front FOA Racing coilovers and utilizes front radius arm style suspension and a suzuki samurai front axle. The front axle is built with chromoly axle shafts, diff protection and truss, upgraded hub bolts, 5.12 gears in a steel differential with a lock right automatic locker, all new seals, and 2" wheel spacers to match the rear, built in 2016. Rear axle is has 5.12 gears, has a lock right automatic locker, and a trail-tough rear disc brake kit utilizing samurai front brake calipers and rotors. Front bumper is home built and looks great, has a winch mount. Rear has a strong 2" receiver hitch, tucked up tight against the bumper. Interior is in good condition, installed new strut on back door, Alpine head unit with amp, new front 4" speakers and new rear JBL 6x9" speakers in custom rear interior panels.

The tracker will go anywhere and has only been wheeled a few times since the build. It drives well on the road, and will run 65 all day on the highway. I am in no hurry to sell, but I do want it to go to a good home. It has sat in my garage too much and it should be out running.

The rig currently has around 85,000 miles. I have a clean and clear Kentucky Title. I am willing to haul a certain distance, message for details. I would also have no problem helping get it to a freight company or uship driver. I am located in Western Kentucky. I would consider trade for a 1ton dump truck or 3500-4500 sized dually diesel truck or cab-chassis.

For full disclosure, i offer the following "issues" with the vehicle:

1. When engine and trans are cold, the trans does slip a little. Meaning, when you put it in drive, the vehicle will no move until it is revved up a bit. After the engine and trans warm up, this issue stops occuring. After a few hours of driving or wheeling, the trans is completely normal meaning when you let off the brake the vehicle creeps forward. I believe it needs this part replaced: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Automatic-Transmission-Solenoid-New-Chevy-Geo-Tracker-Chevrolet-TCS90/132039941953?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649

2. UPDATE MAY 8, 2018 - I AM FIXING THIS, WILL UPDATE AND DELETE THIS ISSUE WHEN FIXED. The rear driveline pinion angle needs work. Everything is fine during normal driving, the only time it is noticeable is when you are going between 50-65mph, and you let off the gas to coast, then the issue stops around 50mph. The calmini kit has an adjustable top heim joint to adjust, but it is adjusted all the way in and needs to be adjusted in just a few turns more. There is a simple way to fix this by grinding down the threaded insert to allow the joint to thread in further, or if you wanted you could redrill the bracket bolted on top of the diff housing.

3. There are a few spots where the paint is surface rusting, largest spot is the size of a dime. These are located mainly on the fenders and are hard to see.
