1966 GMC Fleetside Truck

This 1966 GMC 3/4 ton truck it is a fleetside 8 ft bed. It currently has the original 305 V6 motor with original 3speed automatic transmission. Factory power steering, ew brake lines, heel cylinders wheel seals and brake hoses. The cab is solid no holes in the floors. The doors are solid ...around windows front and back no rust. The bed is solid I took the bed off to replace wood ( its easier that way ). The interior is original and has original factory floor mat. Was used to haul slide in camper most of its life ( mostly sat when not camping ) has extra spring package will haul a load has reese hitch. the odometer has 74000 miles and I believe it to be actual by the condition of brake pedal and rubber mat and factory seat is in. It would make a GREAT rat rod or shop truck or street rod if restored. It has good tires on it. Since first posting this truck on CL I have continued to work and make improvements. New battery installed the carb has been rebuilt timing chain replaced (didn't need it just did it anyway ) a major tune up has been done and oil changed. New patch panels for bottom of fender, ,new bed sills ( cross frames for bed floor ) and bed bolt kit still in boxes .Will eventually figure out what type of material I want for bed (oak, irch, ine, luminum, teel) this truck is not perfect, ut in way better shape than most I have seen, good start for a total restoration or bolt bed back on and drive as it is.
