Description of 1982 GMC Other

I have a 1982 GMC 1 ton 4x4 K35 Heavy Duty! Truck has 34,37l ACTUAL MILES!
I bought the truck in March 2012 from a firefighter who got the truck from
the Lexington Fire Dept. (reselling to make money). When I bought the truck
it had 23,795 miles (even title states "actual mileage'). Truck has always
been garaged and not driven in salt! Truck also never had light bars drilled
on top or in the cab supports. This was the fire department spare truck and
parade truck. Truck has always been adult owned (no offense to the younger
generation, t has not been ran rough, ifted to the sky, r been off
road!). Truck was factory ordered with Heavy duty front springs, br>Heavy duty rear springs with auxiliary helper springs, ngine oil cooler, br>Dual batteries, ual gas tanks, eluxe gauge cluster (factory clock still
works), .10 gears with locker. Skid plate. The truck was ordered as the
heaviest single wheel truck you could get at that time! I JUST
DROVE THIS TRUCK 200 MILES LAST WEEKEND with no worries or concerns and
would do it again! Original dash pad has no cracks! All Glass is good, br>factory weather striping is still soft. Emergency brake still works. Truck
has only been in 4 wheel drive a dozen times. Wipers are fast, oot light
dim switch works. Cig lighter still works to charge your phone. Truck
stops perfectly and does not pull side to side. Drive train is complete
with the original Dana 60, 05 transfer, M465 trans, D Dana Spicer front
drive shaft, assive rear drive shaft. Nothing has been robbed from the
truck. Drive train is supper tight, o slop or play in the shifters.
Original 350 engine was removed this past winter and installed was a 10,000
mile rebuilt 454 (the old 350 was done). When I replaced the engine I
installed new clutch, lywheel, tc... New Starter, attery, teering gear
box (old one had no wear but leaking), uel pump, arb, ew performance
engine cam (you can tell a little at idle), ver $1200 of Items.
The truck was serviced yearly (gear oils, ear end, rans, tc...). As far
as body condition, t is 100% original with no spray can touch ups
underneath! The only rust; truck bed is right behind both rear tires.
Drivers side cab corner has rust at bottom, ack side is good. A spot on
front part Driver rocker panel. Bottom passenger door and both front inner
fenders only where they bolt to cab. No rust on hood, ront fenders, rivers
door, assenger rocker or cab corner. Truck is solid!!!!! I was going to
have body shop fix the minor rust but thought it better to sell 100% original.
Tires are 33's with 50% tread. I installed a gooseneck hitch with removable
ball that I used a couple times. A far as why I am selling....I have had two
right shoulder rotator surgeries and have to have another, t hurts to drive
it! Also, e are moving and loosing garage and I don't want it sitting outside
unused. Truck can be driven home!!! I would trust this truck to get me
anywhere! The only thing I want to mention is when Installed the 454 I did
not alter anything using original bell housing, ngine mounts, ir cleaner etc.
wanted it original! The only thing was the 454 fan shroud is for an automatic
not a standard truck so there is gaps around the radiator. Truck is cold
starting as most carb vehicles. Sorry for the story book but I want people to
