Description of 1948 GMC Other

Up for grabs is a 1948 GMC long bed (FC102) that is about ½ to ¾ through a complete restoration, ut it needs someone to get it over the finish line. A tremendous amount of work has already occurred, nd while I wish I could be the one to bring it back to life, 've run out of time. Work to this point was accomplished by Denver, C's "Klassic Rides" shop, nd as you can see, hey did fine work. While not an all-encompassing list, he truck was media blasted down, nd all rust has been removed and replaced with new metal. The gas tank has been relocated out of the cab, nd the fill hole has been patched. The engine, ransmission, nd rear end have been rebuilt. The frame has been painted black. Front brakes are now disc brakes. The truck does NOT come with a bed, nd some of the original glass was damaged in transport. The vehicle was appraised by a neutral 3rd party at $10k-$12k AS IS (appraisal available upon request). I have a clean PA title (and tag) along with some stories about the truck's past. Vehicle is also being listed on Hemmings.

So why am I selling? Unfortunately, 'm active duty, nd I don't have the time to spend on it. Up to this point, he truck's been housed indoors, ut my family needs the garage space. The combination of all this is why I'm RELUCTANTLY letting it go. Vehicle is currently located with my family in Western PA while I'm away. Please ask any questions and feel free to call, ut limit your calls/texts to 9a-9p EST. My step father (Randy) will be the one answering. 724-272-7545.

Yes, here's a reserve, ut it's below the buy-it-now price a little above 7k.
