1965 GMC/Chervolet 1/2 ton stepside short bed pickup

Nice 1965 GMC 1/2 ton stepside shortbed pickup. 230 cu 6 cyl. three on the floor. This is a very cool little truck. 1964, 965, nd 1966 are all very similar vehicles. It has been a great little work horse for projects around the property. I have owned this truck for over twelve years and have driven it very little. It runs great and is very reliable. The kids are grown and now the truck is hardly used.
Very low miles on rebuilt engine. Heater is missing. Needs body work and wood bed replaced. Clean title registered until Oct. 2016. This would make a great father son hot rod or restoration project. Generally mechanically it is in good shape and simple to understand, view and replace parts. Steering box leaks. Passenger side rear axle seal leaks. Valve cover leaks. I have replacement parts for valve cover and valve window gaskets and rear axle seal and they will be included. Dashboard gauges work mostly. Doesn't matter if you live in Alaska or New York you can drive this home. I am a first time seller on ebay. If you would like more pictures or information contact me.
