1963 GMC Short Wheelbase 4x4 Stepside. This truck has the original 305 V6 that starts right up, uns smooth and doesn't smoke. The front axle has been changed to a later GM axle with disc brakes and power steering was added, ut it comes with the original front axle and steering box. Otherwise the truck is completely stock and spent most of it life on a ranch in the Carmel Valley of California,I believe the 78,000 miles is correct and the engine has never been touched and still runs great.. Has some dents but nothing serious a couple spots that have been fixed in the past have cracked,but they are small minor dents. The truck has solid floors and has very little rust. The gear train is all in good working condition. The truck has been sitting for awhile so the brakes need some attention before it could be driven on the road, t does have brakes, ut they need work. The drivers side windows has a crack, ut all the others are very good. The right rear fender has a crack where it joins the step it is not rusted there, he tailgate is nice and straight as are the bed sides and rails. The truck is in good condition underneath and the frame is in excellent condition.Great project to restore to original or fix the brakes and drive it like it is.
