**RARE ** 1955 GMC 100 Deluxe Cab Big Window Oakland CA Manufactured. Father and Son 4-year off the frame restoration. which is 99% completely original. The restoration was completed in July of 2014. Please look at all the picture that shows the level of quality and details on this restoration. We took this truck to Hot August Nights 2014 and the truck was one of fifty incredible vehicles invited to the Grand Marshal car show out of the many thousands of beautiful vehicles at last years show WOW that was cool. We have the original GM key that would have been given to the buyer from the dealership. this key still has the security tab in place. The key fits the door. ignition and the glove box. The engine is a Pontiac 336ci which was original to the 58/59 GMC trucks. the heads are from correct Pontiac 288 heads. which were completely rebuilt just under 200 miles ago. The Transmission is the original 4 speed Hydra-Matic that was rebuilt and shifts like new. Very Rare original accessory windshield washer fluid bag. The brake lines have all been completely replaced with stainless steel and new rubber. original rebuilt master cylinder. new brakes and drums. new emergency break cables from the lever to the rear wheels. an original Delco Remy starter. generator. original Delco Remy voltage regulator. original gauges including an extremely rare tachometer. all the gauges have been completely restored to new condition. no sticker used on gauges. original seat with new upholstery. new fuel tank. rebuilt fuel pump. rebuilt original Stromberg carburetor. new corker wide whitewalls. original speaker restored. original GMC radio that works. heater core and blower motor rebuilt. all new cables on the heater controls. every nut and bolt replaced using Stainless Steel. completely new Stainless Steel exhaust system. original oil bath air cleaner. oil filter canister. original motor mounts. every wire replaced bumper to bumper using correct size and color. we even took all the original soldered electrical terminals off old wire and re-soldered them onto the new wires. T-3 headlights. completely rebuilt headlight buckets. new repop Stainless Steel taillights. bed is new oak. we used marine grade Epifanes Varnishes 10 coats top. bottom. sides. front and rear of each plank. also used polished Stainless Steel bed plank kit. We replaced both cab corners and re-welded both front fender upper cowl mounts. Everything on this truck works as it should. This also has the very rare original jack and mounting bracket.
