Description of 1961 GMC Other

Solid low mileage pick up.
Our son purchased this truck in 2006 with all of the best intentions of restoring it and the vehicle has been stored inside since that time. In 2015 he lost his storage and I ended up with it.
The vehicle runs and drives good but we have only put 122 miles on it since we have had it. The vehicle has 44,396 miles on it and the previous owner stated that was actual mileage.
The previous owner changed the transmission from the column to a floor shift and for whatever reason it shifts backwards - it doesn't effect how it drives but it is just something you have to get use to. We did not do anything with it as our intentions was to put in a late model engine and transmission.
This is a really solid truck.
Over the past couple of months I put on a new set of tires, installed a new battery and started collecting some parts, but we have too many other projects and have just decided to let this one go.
Items included in the sale but not installed on vehicle: radio (not tested), tailgate and new metal strips for the bed.
