Description of 1941 GMC Other

Im selling what has been my daily driver the last two years. A turn key dependable and rare truck! Purchased it from the second owner who's brother had painted it this way in the 60-70s and it pretty much sat in the desert. Solid as a rock!
Everything was kept to stock appearance while improving drivability as much as possible.
Patricks 3:55:1 rear end that was completely rebuilt do you can do 60 on the freewayConverted to 12 volts for reliability and functioning lights, 6 volt setup comes with it alsoFirestone tires with plenty of life and the brakes gone throughThe motor is a 216 chevy that has a new water pump and was apparently rebuilt before I had purchased it. It doesn't burn oil and doesn't leak.
THE TRUCK ALSO COMES WITH A REBUILT 261 CHEVY BLOCK WITH EDMUNDS INTAKE, STROMBERG CARBS, DUAL FENTON EXHAUST AND AN ORIGINAL FENTON VALVE COVER!!! The plan was to convert it for the extra horsepower and hop up but the 216 ran so well even pulling motorcycles and loads of parts that I never hassled with it!
The trans is the original 3 speed on the floor which didn't have synchros so you double clutch and it shifts great, no popping out of gear!
The seat was recovered, seals replaced and a new floor mat installed.
Everything works as it should, gas gauge, speedo works but isn't correct, lights, turn signals, window cranks, locks, etc etc. The parking brake is the only thing that doesn't work as the cabling is a bit loose but I've never had a problem just leaving it in gear.
The truck is plated with original 1941 California black plates and registered in my name.
The rear driver fender was repaired after the owner backed into something, he skim coated it and never painted it letting it sit out since the 70s so it is chipping off but adds to the character.
