Description of 1979 Honda Accord

I am selling my 1979 Honda Accord CVCC. This is a pretty unique Accord in that is the first year of the sedan body and the last year of the Hondamatic 2-speed automatic transmission. Currently. the car is not running. I have been giving it a good tune up. but just don't have the time to finish. It has a new battery. plugs. wires. distributor. cap. rotor. new head gasket. and a brand new Weber carb conversion. This replaces the stock carb with a Weber which makes it much easier to work on. The stock carb and other parts that the kit replaced are also included. I also have a new timing belt that has yet to be installed. but will be included. The car will need some finishing touches to get working again. like the timing belt and tuning up the carb. As it is a 30+ year old car. it is not perfect. The exterior has some dents and dings. the clearcoat is peeling ad the paint has some fading. But the trim all appears to be intact and the stock wheels are in good shape. The car also has an aftermarket sunroof installed. The interior is in pretty good shape. too. I would recommend the tires be replaced as well. Other small known issues are a sticky hood latch. loose hood release cable. and the battery is missing its hold down strap. The original owner's manual is included. I do not know the exact mileage being that the odometer is only five digits. Since this is an old. non-running car. it is being sold as is. I am happy to answer any questions you may have. I love old Hondas and wanted to get this car back on the road. but I don't have the time anymore. Hopefully it can go to someone who does!
