Description of 1980 International Harvester Scout Traveler

I'm selling my 1980 Traveler due to health reasons. I do still drive it everyday.

IT IS A 345v-8, 27 AUTOMATIC, 00 TRANSFER CASE 4X4 FOUR BRL CARB. I'm the third owner and three years ago it was a one owner out of Texas. I have receipts for over $7000 worth of things that has been done to it in the last two years. Too many things to list, ut the big things are:

New 33X12.50X15 tires(5)mounted on five factory fin wheels.

New Skyjacker 4' lift kit(includes shocks, pring shackles and steering dampener.

New muffler and tail pipe

New radiator

New carburetor

Electric fuel pump

New starter

New roll bar

New 2500 lb front 12V winch

New working front off road lights

Front drivers seat and bottom of passenger seat redone with NOS material

New pioneer am-fm CD radio and rear speakers

All new brakes. Rotors, alipers, ads, rake lines, heel cyls, hoes, aster cyl and drums turned.

New axle seals

Has owners manual and line set ticket

It's got a factory 33 gallon fuel tank with new sending unit and two working fuel gauges.

All the lights work(except interior lite) as well as the horn and lighter. It does need a speedometer cable.

The A/C works but one line has a leak.

The carpet is tore on the drivers side. The dash is perfect.

The body is in real good shape The Tahitian red has not been repainted. All body mounts are good. Somebondo in left front fender and lower front Qt panels. The back floor has a rust hole where the water leaked in the back hatch. Has a piece of metal over it.

Truck starts and runs great. I have 250 lbs. of rock in the rear floor to give a little smother ride. It is pretty stiff with the lift kit and large tires. By the way, he tires have about 1500 miles on them.

Well that's enough. Good truck, eady to drive. New tag and title.

Require $500 deposit, ayPal, n 24 hrs. after auction and full payment in five days. Will be glad to hell with shipping arrangements Thanks..

I have taken the larger spare off the rear and replaced it with a smaller tire since I took the first set of pictures. Makes it easier to open tire rack. All five new tire still go with the truck. I also redid the front winch with a smaller guide plate.
