Description of 1928 International Harvester 6 Speed Special 1 Ton

For auction is a 1928 International 6 Speed Special 1 Ton truck with gas delivery tank. I obtained this vehicle along with a 1929. The original owner had purchased it as a parts truck, but it still has a good start for a full restoration. Original engine turns over with the hand crank (has a damaged distributor), transmission shifts through the gears, driveshaft and rear end appear o.k. Rolls o.k. on original wood spoke wheels. Outer rims are o.k. to mostly gone, inside rims are generally o.k. Extensive surface rust with some rusted through. Cab wood is gone but most of the door and cab skins are included. Both windshields are good but will need new stripping. Single door glass is cracked and hard to see in photo. Some skins will need to be replaced, all will need work. Frame and springs look o.k. as do the brake drums and front suspension (tires not attached and left on to help roll it).The delivery tank (Regan Service Sta.) had been stored separately and is not attached, but resting on the frame. Previous owner had this shed stored, but had been left outside prior to that. Tank is about 105" long, 45" wide and 35" tall. The tank side tool boxes have good brace mounts, but missing all wood. Long steel panels have rust through along the bottom and have been bent. All 4 tool box doors are included. He had this truck and the tank for about 10 years. There is no title, I listed it as a rebuildable title only because eBay Motors did not have any other option to complete the listing. Mileage is not 0, but I cannot get an odometer reading.
