Up for sale is my handsome head turner, a 1970 International Scout 800a. Has a 304 v8 engine. This truck was restored prior to my purchase. It is beautiful. Not perfect, but amazing from afar and Very good up close. The Engine compartment is impeccable. The engine has undergone a rebuild and most of the components under the hood are new as you can see in the photo. It has disc brakes in the front and brand new rear drums and breaks with less than 5 miles on them. A brand new passenger side gas tank, two new neck fillers, a brand new E break, and ignition switch . Also with the truck comes a very nice waterproof Fourseason cover, new Matt black mirrors, windshield wiperblade conversion kit And seals and felts for the windows. The truck also has spray in bedliner intermittently throughout and along the entire floor and pan, the removable top, around the wheel wells, as well as the undercarriage and frame. The truck has no heavy rust. Only tiny spots on bare metal parts, here and there. Ie. on the lugs, hubs, door latches, ect. It has spent most of it’s life in Arizona up until last summer. Upon inspection I found a perforation in the muffler itself, but the pipes are solid. Personally, I love how the truck sounds. So Keep the little hole! In my opinion, the worst part about the truck are most of the rubbers and seals. They are older and harder. That was on my to do list. I drove this truck a total of 20 miles because I cannot drive manual and I work seven days a week. It’s not my time to have this amazing toy. The truck has a clean title, is fully insured and registered and has a Vin of 782827G373572. This truck needs to go to somebody who knows exactly what it is. An awesome looking, functional workhorse, an American SUV classic.
