Built to be a reliable daily driver. Custom built, by Street Rod Engineering of Chino Valley AZ, independent front suspension with tubular arms, Eibach coils over gas adjustable Bilstein shocks, Flaming River rack and pinion steering, rebuilt rear leaf springs. Mass-Flo fuel injection, by Pro-M Racing of West Brookfield, MA, Ford 5.0 engine, rebuilt by Motor Machine of National City, CA, roller cam, lifters and arms, uses synthetic oil, Air Flow Research aluminum heads, aluminum radiator with computer controlled fan, Hooker headers, Magnaflow stainless steel muffler, transmission coolers. Performance built, by Valley Transmission of El Cajon CA., Ford 4 speed automatic 4R70W, Ford 9" rear end manufactured by John's Industries of Caspian, MI. Concept 1 billet serpentine system, by Concept ONE Pulley Systems Cumming, GA, MSD 6AL digital ignition controller, Moroso crankcase air/oil separator, power steering and brakes, air conditioning, Wilwood slotted and grooved 4 wheel disk brakes, aluminum mag wheels, Michelin tires, custom built fuel tank with in tank fuel pump, Classic Industries gauges placed in custom made solid Cherry Wood panel. Optima battery, with marine grade hardware and cables, most nuts and bolt throughout the vehicle are marine grade stainless steel. Original International Harvester 1948 color used for body, PPG lacquer paint, windshield cranks outward, Mighty wiper windshield wipers and motors, tinted glass, not film, locking aluminum cargo chest on the bed, vintage wood stake bed protected with tung oil, tow hitch, ball and trailer light hookup outlet. About 20K miles on engine and transmission, less than 1K miles on the rear end, wheels, tires, brake system, rotors, calipers etc., and Flaming River rack and pinion. Minor scratches and small dent, the size of a golf ball on the roof, passenger side toward windshield. Receipts for everything and history of vehicle, going back 30 years, come with the sale, as well as a laptop computer with program to interact with transmission computer to change programs. Transmission uses a Baumanator controller, fuel injection uses Ford computer with proprietary chip. Four polished stainless steel International Harvester, 3 diamond, center caps for original style wheels come with the truck. |
