Description of 1964 International Harvester Scout SCOUT

ORIGINAL SURVIVOR SCOUT 80 WITH FACTORY PTO WINCHTheir only original once! This time capsule 1964 International Scout 80 will amaze you. It is NOT restored. it is NOT repainted. It is totally original as it was over 50 years ago. This one owner Scout was always cared for and well maintained. Certainly. this Scout will go to a big Scout collector. It was mostly stored in doors. hints its condition. Everything on the truck works. The lights. gauges. horn. wipers. turn signals. heater and even the rare in-dash AM radio still works and sounds good. The Scout still has the original one inch thick service book. (not a reprint) with factory Line Setting Ticket listing out the entire Scout as it was built on the assembly line. I’ve owned over 30 Scouts over the last 25 years. This is the only one I’ve ever seen or owned with a factory. not dealer installed PTO hind-a-way winch. It is listed on the Line Setting Ticket. The Scout only has 65k original miles over the last 50 years. It runs good. shifts good and stops. well kinda good. The truck is a real joy to drive around. Of course its four-wheel drive and the top unbolts to make a full convertible. I was told the top has never been off the truck. The body is very nice overall. Behind both doors the lower rocker has rust on both sides and will need repair. The Scout comes with its original title and the original owners manual is still in and glove box.
