Description of 1963 Jaguar E-Type XKE |
This is my Series 1 XKE that was the E-Type feature carin the book "Jaguar: Performance and Pride". Matching numbers engine and head. Carefully maintained since restoration was performed by D&D Classic Auto Restorations in Ohio. Restoration was done several years ago andre-freshened since andshow circuit ready. Since owning I have had it stored in a climate controlled showroom, ith regular maintenance. It has beautiful fit and finish, utstanding paint, hrome, nd body panel fit. Tight steering, trong engine and brakes.Engineoverhaul includesnew Federal Mogul 9:1 pistons, ins and rings (just completed). Exhaust manifold renewed by Prairie Auto Porcelain. Newer clutch, urned flywheel, ebuilt radiator, ebuilt distributer, ynamo & starter. All synchro 4 speed transmission. Documentation, eceipts, nd photos of restoration. Includes tool roll, ack, nd many other items. JDHC Certified JCNA Best in Class award Documentation of show awardsincluding: 12 First Place Concours wins from New Jersey, olumbus, t. Wayne, leveland, t.
