The Classic Car Gallery is proud to offer this lovely 1988 Jaguar XJS convertible. This is a one owner car with only 39,300 carfax documented miles. We bought the car out of an estate where she had been in storage since 2005. The car was recommissioned in in 2015. This is a lovely one owner 1988 Jaguar XJS-V12, ess & Eisenhardt edition, ith only 40,000 carefully driven miles. Finished in Dark Blue with Isis Blue leather interior and a Black cloth convertible top. The 1987-88 XJS Convertibles were built by the famous coach builders, ess & Eisenhardt. 1988 was the last year for the Hess & Eisenhardt XJS Convertibles, nd one of only 800 of these convertibles built for that year. Never any sign of paint-work or accident damage, nd everything works. All of the panels on this XJS are original (all VIN stickers in place) and comes complete with it's original owners manuals, ood cover, pare tire, nd jack. The car just received the following maintenance work;

New Fuel pump

New Battery

New Tires

New Alternators

New Brake Pads

Full Brake Fluid Flush

Oil Change

Coolant change

Steering rack bushings

This car is cosmetically and mechanically excellent. The underside of the car suffered a bit from the barn storage. The underside, hile solid, uffers from a bit of crust and corrosion. There is one small area of rust underneath by the passenger side jack point. Aside from this, he car is excellent. The interior leather is soft and pliable and shows little wear. The black top is in excellent condition, nd the power top mechanism works as it should. The carpets are good as are the wood veneers. The dark blue paint is excellent with deep shine and clarity. Mechanically she runs strong, he engine putting out good power and torque, nd the automatic transmission shifts as it should. After all, his is a 39,300 mile car!!! These cars were some of the most luxurious cars of the 80's generation. They came fully optioned from the factory with the following features: Automatic power Convertible Roof, eather Interior, ir Conditioning, ower Windows, djustable Steering Wheel, eated Front Seats, ear Glass Window with Defrost, nd beautiful English Wood Veneer. The Hess and Eisenhardt cars are better looking than the later convertible XJS's offered by Jaguar. Bid with confidence, s this car is well sorted and only needs an enthusiastic new owner.
