This white 89 XJS had a small engine fire at 47,344 miles. Aside fromn the obvious, it's a wonderful car with tons of bells and whistles and a great candidate for a Chevy engine swap. New tires with aftermarket spoke rims and almost immaculate interior. Body and paintjob are still in great condition (cept for the hood of course). It was not a large fire but melted all the wiring and surrounding parts. Jaguar Master Mechanic looked at it and said the engine itself may still be ok as it was a low smoldering fire for only about 10 minutes, but still, everything around it needs to be replaced.
