The XJ6C Coupe is a beautiful and rare Jaguar. Only 3,889 left hand drive examples were built during their 3 years of production. Most went to the US and were equipped with the awful Borg Warner 3 speed automatic transmission, ugly US bumpers and early attempts at pollutioncontrols. My matching-numbers, European-spec coupe has the VERY rare 4 speed manual transmission with overdrive, high-compression non-catalyst Euro motor, and the much nicer Euro bumpers. This car has every option in the book - including air conditioning. Full-options, matching numbers, manual trans, desirable color combination and restoration by the real experts make this a one of a kind vehicle. But wait - there's more: This car was originally titled in The Netherlands, but has been imported to the US with an EPA exemption and titled in the state of NJ. Then I imported it to France where it is currently registered and located. The car has had a complete mechanical rebuild/update (David Marks Garages) and frame-off, bare metal interior/exterior restoration (Alan Proctor) done in Nottingham England. My coupe was originally bought by a Dutchman who went to England to take delivery. I have the original registration papers. I bought the car from him in 1987 and, like him, keep it garaged and only drive it on sunny days. You will not find a better driver anywhere and it would not take much to make this car a concourse winner. It could be yours today for less than the price of restoration.
