Description of 1975 Jaguar XJ6 C

The XJ6C Coupe is a beautiful and rare Jaguar. Only 3,889 left hand drive examples were built during their 3 years of production.
Most went to the US and were equipped with the Borg Warner 3 speed automatic transmission, US bumpers and early attempts at pollutioncontrols. This matching-numbers coupe is an awesome ride including air conditioning.
Full-options, matching numbers, desirable color combination there are few of these cars left on similar conditions.
The car has had a complete mechanical rebuild/update (by Jaguar Doctor specialist from Boca Raton) and it was re-sprayed in early 2017.Power comes from a 4.2L inline-six paired with an automatic transmission, and several services have been performed under current ownership along with a2017 repaint.
The car was used to participate in the2017 1000 Millas Sport rally in the Patagonia region of Argentina, and is now offered with recent service records as well as a clean Florida title.

Theseller commissioned an early 2017repaint, as the factory finish had been damaged from sun exposure during the car’s multi-year outdoor storage. The current Regency Red paintwork is set off by a black vinyl top and shown up close in several photos below. An area of bubbling is noted on the left rear wheel arch.

Polished 15″ factory wheels are mounted with Michelin Defender tires showing plenty of remaining tread.Exterior lighting is demonstrated to be functional in photos, which also show the condition of glass and brightwork.

The interior is trimmed in tan (biscuit) leather, with a slightly lighter shadepresented on the rear bench seat. Carpeting is protected by a set of tan floor mats. Several cracks are noted at the top of the leather top dash.

Controls andaccessories are largely stock, and a period radio remains mounted in the center console. Just over 42k miles are shown on the 5-digit odometer.

Several undercarriage photos are provided to show the general condition of the chassis, suspension, and floors.
