Produced for over twenty years with minimal changes, the XJS was a huge hit for Jaguar. Offering unique and seductive styling, powerful engines, and the legendary Jaguar heritage, over 115k rolled off the production line, not bad for a very expensive car. The vast majority of the cars were coupes, but a portion were made into convertibles, but the production numbers were unknown, which adds to the cool Jaguar mystique. GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this '89 V12... Jaguar XJS Roadster. In 1971 Jaguar introduced its 5.3 liter V12 in its reconfigured E-type bodied sports cars. Later the XJS would prove to be the ultimate Grand Tourer implementing a larger body, more modern appointments and fuel injected 5.3 liter all aluminum V12 power plant. The powerful v12 fires right up and the automatic transmission functions as it should. The Grey exterior shows well over its black interior with leather seats. Highlights include a wood steering wheel, Blaupunkt radio with AM/FM/Cassette player, speed control, heated leather seats, owner's manual, newer Michelin Defender tires, power brakes, power steering, air conditioning, spare tire.
