Description of 1960 Jaguar Mark IX California Solid Classic

Hello to all eBayers!I have been with eBay for several years and I want to keep my reputation here 100% positive. I am a private collector, who has endless passion for classic cars and trucks. 90% of the vehicles have been rented out to movies commercials or high-class parties. Right now, I'm liquidating my collection since I'm selling my warehouse. Are you an old vehicles connoisseur looking for classic/vintage vehicles without having to pay luxury prices? You are in the...right place! I know that magic feeling when the right quality meets the right price, so I sell my vehicles worldwide at the most reasonable prices. This vehicle has a clear California title. 1960 JAGUAR MARK IXThe Jaguar Mark IX (pronounced mark nine) is a large luxury saloon car produced by Jaguar Cars between 1959 and 1961. It replaced the previous Mark VIII. The early versions were identical in exterior appearance to the Mark VIII except for the addition of a chrome "Mk IX" badge to the boot lid. Later versions had a larger tail-lamp assembly with the addition of an amber section for traffic indication, visually similar to the tail-lights of the smaller Jaguar Mark 2. It was replaced by the lower and more contemporary-styled Mark X in 1961.The Mark IX was popular as a ceremonial car for state dignitaries. When Charles de Gaulle paid a state visit to Canada in 1960, the official cars for the motorcade were Mark IX Jaguars, rather than Cadillacs or Lincolns. The British Queen Mother had a Jaguar Mark VII which was progressively upgraded to be externally identical to the later Mark IX. The Nigerian government bought forty Mark IXs, painted in the Nigerian state colours of green and white. The large Jaguars of the 1950s were sufficiently popular in western Africa that "Jagwah" survives as a colloquialism for "smart man-about-town".MechanicalThis Jaguar is in solid mechanical shape and ready to drive anywhere. The car is stock with high geared differential for better gas mileage and higher speed drive. The engine runs smooth and the transmission shifts great. All tires are in great condition. Exterior This is a California solid car with no rust issues. The paint is smooth and looks great. Chrome is great driver quality, all glass is intact, All exterior lights work as they should. Nice whitewall tires with good tread. The undercarriage is solid and dry. InteriorThe interior is very original and in great condition. All the wood trim is intact and in good shape. The dash is nice with no cracks. All windows roll up and down smoothly. Gauges, speedo, heater all work.THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO OWN THIS GREAT CLASSIC! SOLD AS IS WHERE IS!
