up for sale is a 1960 Jaguar MK II 3.8 liter sedan. The car bas been in a private collection for over 30 years. The collection consisted of approximately 15 vehicles that was part of a bank seizure and we have slowly started to go through some of the vehicles. This 1960 Jaguar is equipped with the larger more desirable 3.8 liter motor and is backed by a rare factory manual 4 speed. with overdrive The cars paint is nice and could be brought to a higher level with conventional detailing. Chrome and trim pieces are in average condition and could be brought to retail level with conventional detailing, rear bumper does have surface rust (see pic). Glass is intact and show no physical issues, the interior wood is in overall nice original condition with door panels nice and dash showing a few spots of delamination/issue but minor. The front two seats have been freshly recovered with the back seat remaining origina, all seats are excellent, headliner is excellen, carpets are nice with minor ware. leather boot at shifter shows some dry rot. All other interior components seem to be intact and it presents average throughout. The car starts and runs and stops like is should, the car shifts correctly and clutch is tight. The exterior has a few bubble spots but nothing major and the underneath the car is clean and solid.
