1969 Jaguar E-Type Series II Coupe, Hilton, NY Great Lakes Classic Cars 6 Upton St, Hilton, NY 14468 1-(800) 510-3797|(800) 510-3797 1969 Jaguar E-Type Series II Coupe
Drophead Coupe 6-Cyl Series 2 We have the Original Owner's manual and a Book of Maintenance and Repair Receipts Dating way back. Also have the Front Bumper Guard Ring literally Brand New that comes with the car. Beautiful as is Iconic in every way. Long Louvered Nose with Humped Cowl gives this Race Bred Coupe that well known European Touring Super Car Look. 4.2L Powerhouse with a Pair of Strombergs providing fuel to keep it fed. Manual Transmission transfers power to the coveted 4 Shock Jag Rear End. Real Center Knock OFFs Chrome Spoke Wheels wrapped in Coker Tire Company's ever popular RedLine Tires. Spare tire and tools are matching wheel and the tools are there as originally were. Beautiful Leather Interior with Bucket seats that are not torn and optioned with Lap and Shoulder Belts. Another Iconic Design Feature is the Flip Forward and Drop Nose as well as the Side Tilt Open Rear Hatch... What a Great Way to Display your Car at Shows not to mention an Excellent way to have Access to your Trunk Bounty or Mechanical Essentials Well appointed Dash tailored for functionality and Class! Wooden Racing Styled Steering Wheel is the Focal Point of this Leather adorned Interior. Notice the Three Windshield Wipers at the ready in case of rain; Very Nice Overdone Touch! WE DID NOT DOCTOR THIS CAR UP! Instead we opted to show you it's natural patina and dusty undercarriage from storage. The crusty paint on the driver's side is not rotted to the point where it's a major repair. No, quite the opposite, the crusty finish can easily be repaired inexpensively because it is mostly superficial and only there because it was stored that side towards the outside wall of garage for many years by same previous owner. Paint is in good shape and provides plenty of shine, chrome is in very good shape as well. Rear bumper has some pop marks from superficial corrosion and a small ding on front driver's side bumperette. Undercarriage is AWESOME! Super solid throughout! One of the cleanest and best I have ever seen. This Jaguar has a TWO owner history with prior owner being same for over 25 years. It has been kept and cared for with love and professionally maintained. It starts and runs great through all the gears and this is the type of car you can enjoy any and all the time without concerns. We did not test the Air Conditioning as it is missing the belt probably due to needing compressor rebuild but the compressor is there and all plumbing seems to be hooked up still. Gauges seem to be working as they should as well as all the switches. This is a nice honest car that has been well kept by the same owner for many years and shows very legitimate little wear over time. We are selling it without doctoring it or restoring to keep price down so new owner can enjoy it and gain from his/her own investment as they restore it over time.
