Selling a 1954 Jaguar OTS. This is an excellent candidate for restoration. The engine starts and runs very well, and will engage the gears and move under its own power. The braking system is 100% intact but inoperable. The brakes and cooling system will need a complete overhaul. The car was repainted in the 1970s, it was originally a light blue with French gray interior. however, other than the repaint, and replacement interior, the car appears in its original state. The wood sub structure in the deck lid is very strong and with no rot. It will need a complete restoration. This is a project car that is all there. It has a matching numbers engine with a non matching numbers cylinder head. The gearbox is correct and matching numbers. Included in the sale is the original folding top and side curtains. The body shows some visible rust at the lower rear near the fenders. As well as in the trunk area along the seal mounting surface. The interior is also complete, with the original and correct gauges and switches. All 5 wire wheels are in very good damage free condition. This is a complete running project that is affordable. Car is located 20 minutes west of Detroit. Feel free to ask any questions.
