Description of 1968 Jaguar E-Type

This is a 1968 Jaguar XKE S 1. 5 FHC with the triple SU carburetors. I've been working on this for over the last 8 years but I am unable to finish her because I will be moving and do not have room for her at my new place. I had picked this car up back in 1984. I had replaced the engine with another 4. 2 from another E-Type that I had rebuilt back then. I drove her as a weekend vehicle up until I decided to take her apart and make her nice and tight again. Here's a list of parts I've replaced:New front subframeNew Floor pans for drivers and passenger sideNew sills left and right sideNew floor pan for spare tire/gas tank areaAll new rear springs and shocksRebuilt front and rear calipers. Rear calipers have new sleevesNew brake padsRebuilt brake servo. New clutch. pressure plate. Heater core flushed and repaired. New water pumpAll new water and vacuum hoses. New headers and exhaust systemCustom fit car cover. I had to send the makers the year. make and serial number of this vehicle for them to make it. Fits like a glove. I've gotten her back on the road again and she runs smoothly and shifts easily. There is a valve tap coming from cylinder 1 intake. Handling is nice and tight. As I said before. I've run out of time to finish her off. Here's the list of things that she still needs:Missing interior door panels. upper chrome trim for right door panel. isors need replacingAC unit and compressor and hoses (this came originally equipped with AC but the interior unit had distorted and cracked and is not repairable)2 center vent receptacles. nder dash panels. right chrome trim under dash missing. nbsp;pipe from engine breather to air box missing. left interior light switch missing. re-upholster drivers and passenger seatcenter console box lid needs upholstered.
