Description of 1964 Jeep Other

1964 Kaiser JeepM-677.

If you know what this is, ou know that they do not come up for sale very often. This is the 4 door military version of theFC170 cab over pickup truck built by Willys and the Kaiser Jeepfrom 1956 to 1965. They say that around 400 of them were built for the Navy in 1964. This is 1ofthe approximately 50 know to stillexist. She has a South Carolina windshield registration tagfrom1975, ut she has been in Michigan for at least 10 years and is now located in Farmington Hills, ichigan.

The Good:

#264 of approximately 400 M-677s ever built. This vehicle is still in very original condition withit's complete Cerlist 3 cylinder, stroke, superchargeddiesel engine,T-90 Transmission,Spicer 18 Transfer Case and full interior. All the glass is there and good, xcept for a small crack in the Driver's door main window at the bottom that is barley visible.Interior and floor steel are in very good condition. I have a clear title.

The Bad:

She does have exterior rust, s seen in the pictures. Unfortunately, wo owners ago, he spent some time outside. For the past10 years, he has been garaged. The rust is primarilyon the external body panels, pillar supportsand door outer skins. The front cab corners are mostly gone and will also require replacement. No spare tire, r Driver's side rocker panel, heywere not there when I bought her.

This Jeep does not currently run andthe front axle is very stiff, ut she will roll with enough muscle behind her. I was going to go through the front axle and brakes so you could push her around by hand during the restoration process, ut never got around to it.

I am selling because Istumbled upon an FC150 Brush Fire Truck that I could not pass up, nd I have too many other projects,so the M-677 will move on to her next care taker.

Feel free to shoot me an e-mail with your phone number if you want to talk. I will get back to you within the day. I also welcome interested buyers to come out and take a look at her. There is no warranty, he is being sold as is, here is (Farmington Hills, I). For shipping, will get her out to the street, nd the rest is up to you or your carrier. This truck weighs in at 4660 lbs, nd with the factory spring over axle suspension is just over 7 feet tall, o consider that in the shipping, he is a big girl.

Thank you for looking.

9/28/2015:

I received a few questions about the engine and air filter. First, he air filter in the picture was upside down, o I flipped it around and added a picture. I ammissing the filter 'clamp' whichis a metal bar with a screw knob in the middle to hold the filter in place. I also included the only picture I could find on the web of what this looks like. Secondly, added a few pictures of the engine to show the condition and that is looks to becomplete. I saw nothing out of place or blatantly missing.

Thanks again for looking, att.

10/1:

I received a question about the engine rotating, reelyand I confirmed tonight that the engine is NOT seized. Tonight, was able torotate the crank about 15 degrees in each direction by hand. There is no center bolt on this crank, o this was allI could get it to do by hand before the compression made it impossible.

Also, have lowered the reserve asI need her to find a new home. Again, hanks for looking/bidding.
