With a heavy heart I am selling my 1967 Jeep Commando. I'm married now and she's a little too "rugged" for my wife, and she deserves better then to rust away in my driveway. (My jeep not my wife) All is original except for the engine which is a V6 from a late 70s early 80s Buick, transmission is a standard 3-speed. That's a good thing because it... Just... Runs.... It was my everyday car on a regular basis. City, county, highway, off-road and with positrack 4 wheel drive snow/mud/sand was never a problem. This model also has "shift on the fly" which is rare for a jeep in this era. Sure she leaks (not burns) a little oil, the steering is loose and you have to stand on the brakes to get her to stop, but that's how old Jeeps do. Her issues:She's rustingHeater doesn't workNo radioHas radiator leak (fill every 3 days if a daily driver)Tach cable just broke (easy switch out)Needs wiper bladesZippers on top stick a little I'm sorry to see her go but I hope one of you will care for her and love her like I did. Great price to a good home. $3500.00 no low-balls she's worth more than 3.5k
