Description of 1946 Jeep CJ

For sale: 1946 CJ2A Willys Jeep. The brakes have been rebuilt and the carburetor is a later Solex type. It also has a Pertronix ignition instead of the original points type. The flat head engine has a later Kaiser Super Sonic head and both axles are off a later Jeep with 4.27:1 ring gear instead of the original 5.38:1. The paint is rough and the body has had some work including both floor pans replaced. The body has some cracks in the bondo as well. This jeep still retains a 6v electrical system. All of the gauges work except the fuel gauge. It runs and drives well for its age.
