This is a rare opportunity to own a rust-free clean example of a CJ7.

This Jeep is a 1991 Jeep YJ body on a 1986 Jeep CJ 7. It's registered as a 1991 YJ as the VIN is on the fire wall. This Jeep is rust free - the tub and frame have been rhino lined throughout.

I purchased the Jeep about a year ago and I'm now shifting resources to another motorhead project. This is what's been done since:

The bad:

Leaks oil like most old Jeeps

Could use new shocks & steering stabilizer

Odometer does not work as it is aftermarket, original mileage unknown

Gas gauge does not work but will be fine once the sender is replaced (they're cheap). The Ohms signal from the sender unit is not compatible with the Autometer gauge but it's an easy fix - made even easier if done in conjunction with the FI install

This Jeep runs well, idles, shifts, stops, starts, steers all as it should. Brake lights, blinkers, hazards and e-brake all function as well. The work on the Jeep was made to bring it closer to stock and reliable while giving the nod to sensible upgrades. The soft top is not even installed as the Jeep is only driven on blue bird days. The Jeep is currently registered, insured and used as a weekend driver. This is a real Jeep and an engaging driving experience, so while this example is as manageable as this Jeep model can be, it's not a latte sipping cruise control kind of rig. Again, warn winch is NOT included in sale unless purchased for buy it now price.
