1988 Jeep Cherokee Laredo. 4 wheel drive. 192,750 miles. 4.0 liter engine. Automatic transmission. Power windows and locks. Cloth interior. After market stereo AM/FM CD. This Jeep is in above average conditon for its age. The body shows to have been repainted in its life, but shows no signs of rust. The frame may show some normal surface rust for its age, but thats it. Shows to be a 1 owner Jeep and spent its life in North Carolina outside of Charlotte. Older alloy wheels appear to be original. Tires have life left, but have slight cupping, causing some road noise while driving. Vehicle is equipped with AC, but the compressor is not currently working. Instrument gauges appear to work except the oil pressure gauge stays to the right at all times. The steering on this Jeep is not very tight, and has some play when driving. The 4.0 liter inline 6 cylinder is as quiet as I have had on this old of a Jeep, without the noticeable valve and lifter noise. The transmission shifts as it should. The 4 wheel drive engages instantly as it should and disengages with a little effort lol. Purchase in the state of TN will result in sales tax being collected, outside of TN no tax will be collected.
