This Jeep is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition - built to maintain the classic CJ feel but with many performance upgrades including a rebuilt engine bored .030 with factory Mopar multi-point fuel injection, T176 4spd, and Dana 44 axles front and rear! Almost everything on this Jeep is new. This CJ is comfortable at 70mph on the highway and will also get you through most any trail out there.The Jeep was in the middle of a protracted restoration when I purchased it. The Jeep has a clean Virginia title in my name. Previous owner title it as "Not Actual" vice "Exceeds Mechanical LImits" and listed mileage as 23K miles vice 123K miles, hence the reason for the Odometer Issue that AutoCheck reports.The body was already blasted, prepped, and painted prior to purchase. There are a couple very small (touched up) paint chips from the previous owner moving it around in storage, but there are no dings or damage anywhere on the body. It's a very nice pearl white gloss paint with satin black accents and spice interior. The interior floors were bedlined for longevity and easy care, and the remainder of the Jeep was built from the bare frame up. Everything about this Jeep was built with reliability, and a mix of daily drivability and trail performance:- 1982 Jeep CJ7 125k miles, power steering, power brakes, MPFI- Factory original Jeep body and frame. The body pieces were were separated, blasted, prepped and painted pearl white inside and out, and the interior has been bedlined. The frame was similarly prepped. Rear shackle area and rear frame crossmember was replaced with new. The entire frame is coated in Eastwood chassis black.- Professionally built .030 4.2L 258 6cyl engine - the block and head were professionally machined by a local performance shop and assembled with top end parts (Melling, Clevite, ARP, Felpro, etc.)- Complete new Mopar factory electronic fuel injection kit = brand new 95-era MPFI 50-state emissions legal fuel and ignition system. The kit includes a new intake manifold, throttle body, harness, distributor, cap, rotor, wires, fuel pump, air and fuel filters, computer, fan clutch, canister, vacuum lines, fuel lines, all sensors and complete electrical harness - this is THE best way, bar none, to fuel inject the Jeep 4.2L engine - this kit was Mopar-Engineered specifically for the CJ7 4.2L.- Complete new exhaust including MPFI-compliant header, catalytic converter, muffler, and tailpipe- Tremec T176 fully synchronized 4spd transmission / Dana 300 tcase is mated to the professionally machined flywheel with new performance clutch kit (the T176 was an original upgrade option for the CJ7)- Twin Dana 44 wide track axles with lockers - yes, Dana 44s front and rear!- (5) 31x10.50r15 BFG ATs on new steel wheels- All new stainless fuel lines, brake lines, and braided stainless brake hoses- Complete new power brake system (front discs, rear drums) incl new brake master cylinder, rotors, drums, power booster, proportioning valve, and eBrake- New cooling system including new copper 3-core radiator, new heater core, and all new hoses- New 15gal fuel tank, fuel sender, and hoses- New shocks and all new poly suspension bushings- New poly body mounts and new gaskets and boots throughout- Bestop Supertop soft top with full soft doors- New Bestop seats, brackets, seat belts, and roll bar cover- New stereo and speakers, new mirrors, lamps, lenses and switches throughout- New bearings, U-joints, and fluids throughout- All ORIGINAL working gauges - EVERYTHING works and is accurate!I also have the original color-matched full hard doors (paddle style) that will work with the Bestop Supertop. These may be negotiated separately. The Dana 44s (front and rear) have auto lockers installed - true 4-Wheel Drive built for the trail! That said, if you've never driven a Jeep with lockers you may not be comfortable with the road manners of an automatic locker in the rear end. If preferred I would be happy to remove the rear locker and replace with an open diff or, if you'd like to pay the difference, a True-Trac limited slip differential.
