Description of 1926 Ford Model T

Ground up recent build. Road proven with @ 4,100 miles. The car has appeared in two magazines, s is featured on the Hot Rod Magazine website. (http://www.hotrod.com/cars/featured/1311-1926-ford-coupe/) I entered it in two large shows and it won awards in both, ncluding Goodguys Nationals in Del Mar.

Car is all steel. The body was excellent to begin with and needed only minimum repair.Stripped bare, oated inside, PG paint system including DP 90 primer. Topcoat is PPG Triple Black urethane. Paint was allowed to cure for 30 days prior to sanding and polish. Features original door glass regulators, oor locks, nd trunk lock with skeleton key, nd all window reveal moldings. "Straight Five" gauge panel in the original dashwith Stewart Warner deluxe gauges, un FZ-108N tachometer from 1961, OS Stewart Warner beehive indicator lights. All new glass, lass seals, nd new floor. Original firewall. Seat rails are reclined and recessed below floor height for extra comfort.

Frame is Model A Ford. Boxed with lazer cut boxing plates, ear section is kicked 2"X4" tubing. Frame has 7 crossmembers for super strength. Custom fitted gas tank.

Rear suspension is 39 Fordspring with Pete and Jake's triangulated,adjustablebushed 4 bar.

Front end is a genuine Mor Drop forged axle, ew forged spindles and steering arms, osie's Super Slide spring, 7 Bones,Ford F-1 shock mounts, hassis Engineering shocks all around. 1937 Ford steering column.

Engine is new crate genuine GM 290 HP 4 bolt main 350. It has the L79 Corvette cam with a nice lope at idle and good power. 100% new Vintage Speed tri-power with new secondary bases and stainless steel ball bearing progressive linkage, ll dialed in. Mallory Unilite distributor and coil. Flowcooler water pump.

Trans is 1976 Corvette Super T-10, ully rebuilt, 00% Hurst Super Shifter and linkage. All new lightweight flywheel, lutch assembly, ydraulic clutch, nland Empire driveshaft, ebuilt 9" Ford rear with 3.0 gear.

Tailpipes and mufflers are aluminum coated. Radiator is a 29 Ford top tank and side straps with a 5 row, taggered core with 13 fins per inch. Powermaster starter and alternator. The entire electrical system is overbuilt for reliability.

Buick 45 fin front drums with Wilson Welding hubs. Hubs are drilled and tapped for big Ford, mall Ford, nd Chevy patterns. Custom offset wheels and Firestone Pie Crust Deluxe Champions from Coker.

This was a 4 year project. The car was meticulously built to last a lifetime. Only the best parts were used. What isn't new is rebuilt. This is a low maintenance car that has been carefully maintained and is turn-key, o work is needed. It will cruise over 200 mileson one tank of gas and is kept in detailed condition. Excellent highway driver.
