Description of 1955 Ford CUSTOMLINE

Up for auction is my Father's 1955 Ford Customline with the 272 " Y block " engine and the Ford-o-Matic automatic transmission. He purchased it in January 2012 and the only reason he is parting with it is due to now wanting a convertible. It was an older restoration at that time he purchased it but he has updated and refreshed quite a bit in the last few years. The car is garage kept and only driven in nice weather. It has racked up approx. 20 various trophies at local car shows since he's had it. The car runs and drives great . No drive-ability issues at all. The black paint is in excellent condition. The frame is solid and has no issues at all. He installed brand new floor pans in the front just a few months ago. The electrical system has been upgraded to 12 volt. Shocks are approx. 2 years old and the rear's are air shocks. Brakes are all in great condition . e replaced some if not all of the brake lines. shoes are like new. and the wheel cylinders are relatively new. The radiator and gas tank have been flushed / sealed at local radiator shop. The belts and hoses are all new. The Custom dual exhaust is approx. 1 year old and is in excellent condition . In October 2014 . He had the rear main seal . Oil pump seal . and dipstick tube gasket replaced. The transmission was also serviced and new gaskets installed within a couple weeks of the rear main being done. The Napa battery is 1 year old . It has a brand new vacuum wiper motor and blades. He had the interior completely redone in two tone blue and also had matching seat-belts installed. It has after-market REV Wheels from their " Classic" line. There is an aftermarket AM/FM CD player which is mounted on the underside of the dash as not to alter dashboard. He does have an original radio that goes with the car as well. I know I'm forgetting some of the work he's done and some of the parts replaced but I will revise this listing as needed.
