Of the HF series Fulvias, the 1.2 was the first and the most rare with only 435 examples being built between 1966 & 1967. I imported this car from Italy many years ago and have enjoyed it immensely during my ownership. The buyer will have the added benefit of a freshly rebuilt engine with fewer than 200 break in miles. Mechanically the car is on the button. The paint is old but shows well. There is zero rust anywhere on the car and no evidence that there ever was any. The engine specifics are exactly as original: bore & stroke, 76 x 67mm, 1,216cc, 2 x Solex 35PHH carbs, 88bhp @ 6000rpm, torque 80lb/ft @ 5,000rpm. The car weighs only 1,800 pounds thanks to standard aluminium doors, trunk lid and bonnet as well as Plexiglas windows, light weight seats and a spartan interior. All HFs wore this paint scheme including the blue and yellow striping as well as the blue and yellow valve cover. This is the car that started Lancia down the road of rally championship dominance.
