First and foremost, o not bid on this item unless you are SERIOUS!!! Due to a non paying bidder I'm re-listing this item. Here we have a true classic rover that has been well taken care of considering it's age. The paint has been re-done by the previous owner in "ebony black" - that said the paint is in very good condition with only a few minor area's that may need attention - it seems some small areas need buffing (see pictures), aint is an 8.5 out of 10, he reflection you see on the hood are clouds in the sky, ice mirror finish all around.Body has minor denting on the side doors but absolutely no accidents or "body damage", his model has the door hinges on the outside and looks great. Glass is good all around, inting is scratched in some places but still looks decent/very usable - all windows function at the switches.Interior seating has been very well re-done in black and gray leather, ront passenger and driver electrically adjusting seats function but are sticky/loose, he headliner has also been re-done in black vinyl. It appears the carpet has also been replaced in black. Typical issues include a center console that is needing attention - the good news is it's mostly all there (minus the radio and 2 rear speakers)waiting for restoration. Under the hood is all original with 0% modification, oses replaced, istributor cap, ires, lugs, iltersetc as regular maintenancewere performed (obviously or it wouldn't be running), t runs VERY well, trong 3.5 motor does not smoke or overheatand pulls nice, il looks as though it was recently changed. Transmission shifts evenly and does not show distress. Transfer case is currently in drive mode or 4x4 HIGH. I can't seem to engage it into 4x4 LOW, eels like loose linkage at the shifter (this does not affect regular driveabilty). New brake master cylinder installed (see pic)- dashboard, nside panels are what you'd expect to find in a 28+ year old vehicle. NO warning lights in the binnacle, uel gauge works great as does the thermostat gauge (stays on the cool side). The speedo and odometer has recently been a little funny - works intermittently so it will need a new gear soon. Also, pon visiting the motor vehicle department there was a mistake by a previous owner whowrotethat it had 146,000 miles(currently on title as"BOX A" or"ACTUAL MILEAGE" but I believe it was supposed to be 145,000 due to it now has 145,700 (see pic). Here in Arizona the new owner writes in the miles in a box on the backside of the title before turning in to MVD/DMV, t is then registered without motor vehicle department verification (it can be only be rolled forwards, ot back as I have already tried to fix this error with them)I'm more than happy to show you pictures of certain areas of the title upon request. Moving on, here isminor surface area's where you can see rusty spots (hardly worth mentioning) but pleasenote, O holesor corroded areas or rust. All doors lock but are sticky and in need of cleaning/oil. One rear passenger doordoes not lock due to the push buttonapparently has come undone. all doors close properly and latch/seal tight. Rear cargo area is clean, ncludes a full size spare in excellent condition with carpeted cover and side panel.Wheels are straight and are in great condition, tires are good from what I see but one has cracking on the sidewall and needs replacing soon. If you have questions please ask, his Classic has begun restorationbut needs some finishing touches. No reserve, opening bid isset ridiculously low! What you see in the pictures is what you get, remarkable Rover classic that has already begun to be restored. It is 100% road worthy, treet legal and can definitely be used as a daily driver.
