Imported, egistered and restored by the original stateside owner, am offering my 1985 Land Rover Defender (completely restored, rame up, b>modern engine and drivetrain) for sale due to a recent move that has shifted my priorities. I built this truck to last another 25 years, t is sitting on a new frame, as the uprated 300 TDI engine, ll bolts, crews, ou name it have been replaced. Please do your homework before you send me a message low-balling the price on this truck. The engine alone fetches near $5K, nstallation another 5K, nd the entire aluminum body is sitting on a new, alvanized frame, ot an original frame, ot a 'waxoyled' frame (though this frame has been waxoyled internally) its new, ess than 4K miles since its restoration. This is certainly a go anywhere machine, ruck feels fantastic at speed and returns mid-20 mpg around town.
