Description of 1989 Land Rover Defender

I looked for this Defender for years. Its a two owner garage kept truck that was owned by a collector in the mountains of Pesaro Italy. After 6 months of paperwork I legally imported the truck to Oregon where it is titled and has been for the last year.
The truck is a real time capsule and head turner. It is garage kept and covered.I've replaced any old plasitc parts that were faded or cracked with Land Rover genuine parts.
I currently only drive it to car shows and every other Sunday. My daily driver is another less refined D90. I have ambitions to start a new build this year and my wife says one has got to go.
MILEAGE
The truck has 16K km = 10K miles on it. It's evident when you see it this truck that is has been pampered in a garage it's entire life. There are still factory stickers/stamps on the engine/cabin and underbody.
I'm the 3rd owner / Purchased from a collector and I have all paperwork on the truck from import to registration to original owners manual.
No accidents
EXTERIOR:
The exterior paint was resprayed in Europe because it faded because of age. Interior is orig (matching) paint.
Has always been Garaged.
Faded or cracked parts replaced with OEM parts: front grill, urn signal lenses, eflectors
Rust free. Undercarriage, rame, oors and pans are rust free.
There are NO aftermarket parts on this truck.
Recently Re-aligned
Comes with two sets of wheels, oth LR and color matched. Second set is freshly powder coated.
INTERIOR:
Original Bench seats in the front and two original fold up bench seats in the back in matching grey.
I do have a heavy rubber mat in the back to prevent scratches. All else is OEM in the interior of the truck.
ENGINE:
Recently serviced and inspected by the folks at Defenders Northwest in Seattle.
2.5L Garrett Turbo Diesel. Turbo sounds great.
Starts up every time, ngine is ALL original and still has factory stickers.
Air filter changed/Oil/oil filter/antifreeze/wind shield washer fluid/ brake fluid have all been flushed and replaced.
Tons of torque.

COSMETICS:
I've replaced any scratched, racked or faded plastic parts that are available OEM. Here is what is still outstanding on my list. I have pictures of each item on this list.
1-Small cigarette burns on the passenger door (inside) and driver seat.
2-Original textile lining has begun to delaminate a bit (unfortunately normal for LR/Defenders)
3-One small scratch on the rear quarter panel (quarter size length)
4-hand brake rubber cover has a crack in the rubber (small)
5-Rear step has a crack in the rubber (small)
6-A couple of paint on the Wheels on the truck show minor pitting. (also have a second set of matching powder coated LR/Defender wheels that will come with the truck)

I strongly suggest you have the truck inspected by a local dealer or shop to get third party inspection if you are out of town buyer. I barely drive this truck and I love it but I have 2 Defenders and with ambitions of starting a restoration this year and I need to make room.
