Description of 1985 Land Rover Defender Military

Rare Military Land Rover for Sale. (Lots more pictures just scroll to the bottom to see)
This is the rare Land Rover type especially made for the British military. They are slightly narrower than civilian land rovers (this was so they could be loaded side by side onaircraftto be dropped by parachute to thetroops below).
Please note: the sale price includes shipping to the USA. (For more details see below). The car is currently in England, but don't let that put you off as it is easily shipped. I can provide a reference on the USA for you to speak to so you can check out who I am and know you are in safe hands.
This is a really good example of a MilitaryAir Portable Land Rover (lightweight). It has low mileage and looks nice and original as it would have left the army (minus the radio equipment it would have had).
This was stripped down and re-built by a previous owner using agalvanised frame so there is none of the rust problems Land Rovers suffer from. It has been re-painted (was taken back to bare metal) in NATO green military paint.
Drives and does everything you would expect a lightweight Land Rover to do. Comes complete with all fittings as seen in the pictures (pick and shovel etc).
Clear title documents held (V5 document in england).
Vehicle is in very good condition for its age and the bodywork is straight (these areusuallyfull of dents)
