Vintage and rare 1965 Land Rover Series IIA. LH Drive and FWD. Runs great. Original paint. Could use a new wiring harness at some point and the Fairey overdrive would need tuning for optimal Hwy driving. Note: This classic vehicle is geared low and was designed as a farm/utility vehicle for the English countryside. Body made of aluminum and will last forever. Minor dings here and there add genuine character. Steel frame and firewall are in great condition. Comes with soft-top and frame. spare tire and bonnet harness and storage box full of spare parts. including brand new accessories. Designed to be serviced in the field using only standard wrench set and drivers. Originally a Canadian import. This Land Rover model is historically claimed to be the first vehicle to have been seen by 1/3 of Earth's remote population. This Land Rover in particular has been to North Africa as part of the US Diplomatic Corps and circumnavigated all the great pyramids of Giza. I am selling b/c I am active duty Navy who deploys often. This classic car needs more time than I can give it. Take it from me. everyone wants to look when you drive by. Rover-dust will transfix them all! |
