1987 Land Rover 130, LHD, Crew Cab, 300Tdi

I imported this car a year ago through Dividing Creek (uncle ''Doug'') as a single cab with an ambulance body and its original 2.5 Turbo diesel engine. The car is from 1987 and has a very low mileage of only33,000 miles although there is no service history to back this up. Given the very good condition of this car though and the fact that I also own asecond one with the same history, almost same VINand an even a lowermileage, makes me beleef the odometer reading shows the correct mileage.

After import a 300Tdi engine with R380 gearbox was installed. Also the ambulance/camper body was removed and a crew cab was installed from only original Land Rover parts with for instance brand new Puma front doors and used Puma2nd rowdoors. The car had a color change to original Land Rover Coris grey with a Santorini black roof and grille. Not only the exterior but also the interior was painted, many parts before assembly andnow have both the metallic grey color. After this, new and partly leatherLand Rover seats were installed together with a new headliner, new carpet, new stereo and much more. To finish it new, original Land Rover Boost wheels with new tires were fitted.

The Good:

- Very, very good frame, no rust, never welded

- Very good bulkhead, no rust, never welded, foot wells in almost new condition

- body straight, no dents and new paint

- NEW Puma front doors and used Puma back doors, all new door panels on the inside

- NEW Puma front and back seats, partly leather as came on the latest Defenders. Front seats heated but notconnected.

- NEW Boost wheels with new Continental tires

- NEW Rhino liner in the bed

- New LaSalle headliner

- New Exmoor trim

- Back up camera

- Warn winch with HD winch bumper

- NEW LED lights

- Allisport intercooler

Good to know;

- This is not a full nut-and-bolt or frame off restauration. Driveline is in very good condition, low miles,needs nothing but also has not been touched.

- Engine bay is not painted and you can still find some of the original color.

- Although this car is in very good condition and probably one of the best 130's you can find here in USA, you alsomight find ''imperfections'' if you would compare it with a brand new car. Therefor I would prefer interested people to see the car before they buy it.

- This car is almost 30 years old. Even when new, back in those years, Land Rovers were not known as the most reliable cars. Please do some research and realis tahtwith a car like this there is always a change that something might brake or goes wrong.

Car comes with clear MI title. Ebay doesn't except import VIN'sif they are younger then1980 hence it is listed as a 1980 although this car is from 1987.

At this moment the last little things are finished, so car is only available in December or so.
