Year: 1994 (SALDV2286RA934567) Owning between 7 to 10 Defenders at any given time, I am always looking for new, one-off projects. I set out to restore my 1994 NAS Defender 90with themost up to date, 2015 Specification - FINAL MODEL YEAR, from all New Take Off parts direct from the UK. As we all know, production as stopped on the Defenders, and the new parts are becoming harder to source. I have over $125k of receipts, and now that my next project is heating up, I would like to pass this on to another collector. -New MT82-6 speed gearbox -NO rust on the usual trouble areas given that all parts brand new at time of restoration with GALVANIZED chassis / rear cross member / outriggers,newseat box,new PUMA bulkhead -Endless stainless or upgraded hardware including around floor pans, door hinges, rear hinges -NEW factory panel off, metallic silverpaint to all newaluminum body panels (everybody panel is brand new, factory fresh) -New Doors - PUMA - Fully galvanized frames, upgraded door seals -New Heavy Duty2015 Spec Suspension, Springs and Shocks -New Radiator, hoses, and all ancillaries -New fuel pump, fuel tank, lines, sediment filter,and fuel filter -Newbrakes, lines -New factory black Boost alloy wheels (BFG A/T 265/75/16 with 85-90% tread remaining) -New battery and all electrical wiring and components -New wheel bearings, axles, seals, differentials, drive shafts, and steering system -New poly bump stops and bushings throughout -New Exhaust-New Puma dash (100% functioning, 100% stock)-New Puma XS interior (half leather, forward facing proper rear seats that fold for use of bed space, proper PUMA rear tub)-2015 Modern Features: A/C and heat that actually work, power windows, heated seats, ABS -Safety Devices - NAS Style -roll cage, L138/7 (internal hoop isincluded but not installed)-New Rovers North rock sliders ***A few people have asked: I do have a complete NAS soft top setup (factory roll cage, rear swing away tailgate, top) that I would include for $5k, allowing you to convert to a proper soft top.*** Condition: Ground up rebuild with every piece new, factory 2015 new take off, zero rust, drives like a new car.I have never driven the car in the rain, snow, salt, or 4x4 conditions. Unlike the olderDefenders, this is a proper road worthy truck for every day usewithout sacrificing utility when needed. I have been able to fully insure this truck using my standard insurance company for collision, liability, and full loss at an agreed value of $150k given photo documentation of the level of restoration. The truckhas a clean PA title, matching VIN on the original bulkhead plate and EPA decal on the footwell, and the restoration process was overseen by the local PA inspection center. Details of Ownership: I am the first owner during and post restoration,and Ihave personally driven all 6k miles. Reason for sale: I have a 1993 110 restoration project and a 1994 130 conversion project in the works, both of which I would like to complete over thewinter and spring.
