Land Rover 127-130 Rapier 14 seat troop carrier . Originally used to transport rapier missiles and tow the launcher . the 3.5 V8 Land Rover engin, engine is in amazing condition having had a new distributer fitted and all filters changed . Has plenty of power and can be driven at highway speeds . Work carried out since being in Colorad, new custom made mohair top $2,000, new exmoor front seat, new matching exmoor bench seat, new fuel tan, new suspension part, new exhaust system .Car has power steerin, 2 fuel tanks for long rang, nato hitc, HD double rear springs on the rear for the extra weight . Its also comes with the original military top (slight tear in top right corner) and the original military seat (very uncomfortable ).Low range and diff lock all work superbl, the gearbox is a LT8, changes through the gears are good except when changing down from 3rd to 2nd the gears crunch unless double clutch is used .Chassis is in great condition and is more heavy duty than a normal defender chassis due to the weight the car was designed to carry .Paintwork is typical military cam, condition is OK . Bodywork is good all aluminu, some denting on the tops of there front wings and hood . Bulkheads are solid as are the footwells and door bottoms . Hinge on the drivers side works but has come away from the bulkhead .Car would be ideally suited for a beach run abou, conversion to a 130 double cab LWB picku, camper as the bed is 8ft long .Shipping to most parts of the US between $600-800Clean Colorado title .
