Description of 1988 Land Rover Defender BASE

DA 327 ZE 1988 Land Rover 90 Turbo D

Factory fitted 2.4 Turbo Diesel.

Good mileage – 125,000

Original unmolested examples of “Defenders” are getting more and more difficult to find. This particular example is perfect for USA export, and is both USA and Canadian compliant being a 1988 model.

Finished in Land Rover White, with Black vinyl/cloth trim.

Power Steering

Currently fitted with steel wheels but will be supplied with freestyle defender alloys.

Good rust free chassis however does have signs of surface corrosion as has not been undersealed.

Ideal for restoration has a beautiful original patina. Requires minimal body or chassis work, the front passenger side floor is showing signs of corrosion and will need a replacement floor section other than that its structurally sound. The fuel assembly has just undergone a rebuild so now running sweet.

Can be sold with a V5C at request however currently has a French title.
