-----USUAL BUYER ISSUE FORCING RELIST-------- Dont think of this if: - you need permission from a significant other and DONT HAVE IT YET - you don't have the money and you need a loan - you don't know what a LR Defender is - you can't drive a stick shift - you live in California - you want to go 80mph+ - you want a show car for the concourse 1987 Land Rover Defender 110 RHD - VIN#SALLDHAV7BA293261 This vehicle is a very solid example of a Defender 110 that has been used as an off-road/expedition vehicle all its life. It is NOT a trailer queen - or mall crawler…she has bumps/scratches and dents, and the paintwork, while OK, is flaking in some spots on hood at latches and is dull in all! No punches pulled here - if you want a mall cruiser with spiffy paint and cushy perfect leather interior….move on, nothing to see here…this is a vehicle that has been used offroad. I will sell it with a lot of additional parts to include - new Garrett turbo, new rubber wheel arches, extra carpeting pieces, many miscellaneous bits. This vehicle was built by Nene Overland prior to a European and African adventure for the original UK owner, then properly imported into the USA in 2012 for the fella I bought it from…There are quite a few aspects of it that have been upgraded by Nene and by me since I have owned it. Not the least of which is the rock solid R380 Stumpy, mated to a Defender 200Tdi with all 4 disc brakes and a Salisbury rear differential. The drive train is awesome, and I get 75mph without a problem on the highway. I am positive I am missing some things, but here goes on all:
Carling switch for Electric Fan control Boost Gauge Exhaust Temp Gauge Digital volt meter - extra (2nd battery) Carling switches labeled for all Auxillary lighting (Spots, Roofx2, Rear & Side) Carling switch for Interior Hella Map light Carling switch for Interior floor lighting - Blue LED - front footwells and rear seats Frame is in good condition, shows well, having had waxoyl treatment by previous owner I have all paperwork/receipts/UK registration/import paperwork etc etc - absolutely no worries with registration/titling in the USA (except CA with Diesel laws) - it has been registered and titled in both MA and VA since it arrived here in 2012. I have owned it and used for 4 years now. NO LOW BALLERS PLEASE - DEPOSIT DUE 3 DAYS AFTER AUCTION CLOSE more pictures can be sent on request On May-11-17 at 16:13:21 PDT, seller added the following information: NO - the mileage on the speedo does NOT reflect the actual DRIVETRAIN miles...it is reflective of the "Chassis" miles - or the VIN# miles.....the 200TDi engine was a retrofit from what was a 3.5l V8 engine....I have looked back at the receipts and through them and some emails I figure the 200TDi has somewhere near 180K miles on it - maybe more - since a complete overhaul and fitting into the vehicle. The R380 stumpy transmission only has about 5K miles on it since fitment 2 years ago. Hope that helps. |
